D16y8 swap
Ok, I have a '92 Civic HB CX (i did search everything that came up was WTB or FS) and I want to swap in a D16y8 turbo motor...I believe in order to put the y8 (obd 2) motor in my car all I need to do it
92-95 Si/EX P28 ECU
92-95 EX/Si/VX harness
4 wire O2 sensor
OBD1 injectors, distributor, and alternator
And the rest I can reuse (stock axles, shift linkage, motor mounts and the motor)
Is all this information correct or do I need to change anything cause it is turboed, sorry I noobie to turboin (ooh it is the greddy kit for the 92-95 motor [d16z6])
Thanks

You don't really NEED the EX/Si/VX harness but it will help. Since your Civic is a 92, the cabin harness is prewired for VTEC so using one of those harnesses will make it plug and play.
You can reuse your stock CX injectors and alternator, and the distributor with little modification. You can also use a Y8 distributor and simply repin the plug with your OBD1 plug. Other than that it seems like everything else that you've stated will work.
