Default Need help with my SOHC vtec swap please help!!

sup yall i have a 92 hatch VX
the vx is a d15z1 vtec economy.... i have a 98d16y8 i plan on putting in..
my question is what do i need to do this since a d16y8 is from a 98 which is obd2 and my VX is obd1. i have a p28 ecu from a 92-95 ex/si and i have the ex ecu from the 98. can i use the p28 ecu for the Y8. help me out guys if yall know.
all i wanna do is put this d16y8 motor in ASAP. just these damn wiring ****.

you may end up missing a connector or two... but the motor will run nonetheless.

Use p28, a 4 wire O2, and an obd1 VTEC distributor re-pinned to the y8 harness.

you might jst need to use your VX distributor.

WHy would i need the VX or EX distruibtor because its OBD1???
if so i got 1 and its cool but i wanna know incase

you use the VX or EX cuz it's OBD1 and makes things a hell of a lot easier... especially with a P28 in command

is there a diff between the vx and ex distributor i dont think soo..but i know for a fact the ecus are diff and vx sucks cause u redline lower and its just set lower overall.

Either or will work... as long as it is VTEC OBD1.... and both of those are so... go fer'it

aight soo if this is all i have to do im GREAt
i got a p28 ecu and ill use my vx distributor or ill get a ex dist from my friend
i printed out the directions for the 02s sensor
thanks ARIZONA and every 1 else!!!
