Prothane Motor mount users!
I got these inserts primarily because I was impressed by the high durometer of the product.
I unfortunately did not install the driver side mount because, from what I know, it entails destroying the liquid filled mount in the process.
So as it stands now, I have the rear mount and side(pass.) mount installed.
My problem is the fact the car lurches quite violently during on/off throttle inputs. Previously when the car would drop below 1500rpm in 2nd gear...I could step on the gas with moderate pressure and the car would pull smoothly....with Prothane, the car would jerk suddenly before getting on its way.
I've never driven anybody elses car with the Prothane inserts....only G3-TEG's car which has the ES bushings (does NOT suffer from this)....I've never adjusted my throttle cable before...it is as loose as it should be on a factory R....
Is this normal?? Or would installing the driver's mount help kill this? I don't notice the harsh vibes like everybody says is prominent but then again I'm running 2/3 mounts.

I'm running all three ES motor mounts. When I drop to 1500rpm the car shakes really bad. The dash shakes violently like when I used to get wheel hop.
I had the Prothane mounts in my Civic. They were stiff as **** but I didn't like them. Too much vibration for the street.
I have the Mugen mount kit in my Integra. Slight vibration, but barely noticeable.
Nice quality, too.

I had all three prothane motor mounts in my car. I think the problem you have is that the passenger side transmission mount may be broken. The Prothane kit does not replace this mount or even offer an insert. Not sure if the ES kit does either. Checks this mount and replace it if worn. As for the driver side engine mount that is liquid filled. Leave it! The vibrations in my car were so bad that I ended up replacing all the mounts except the rear back to stock. With all three mounts, the car felt awesome at the track but streetability was awful. I shook everything in my car loose including the windshield!!!

after careful consideration of all things posted....
I think I might remove the tranny mount and off it to my friend with a DelSol...since his driver's mount is not liquid filled.
I will opt for the ES lower inserts instead.... in hopes for the same type of response....
Will check for the cracked mount....thanks for the tips guys! Much appreciated!
