im not sure the EXACT number but gsr redline is 8200, im pretty sure the computer shuts off fuel after that so u dont blow your engine.

Any problem if leave at 8200 rpm for a while before shift? Or the engine will be okay? 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th 8200 rpm all the way will be okay also?????? Or its too hard on the motor and something will be mess up???? I know gsr are high revin motor but isn't there a catch to it if rpm to 8200 through all the gears even first??? Thanks.

i dont understand what u mean by "leave at 8200 for a while before shift.." u want to shift right at redline or right before...even if u miss it the fuel cut will come on preventing any damage...but i do think that if you keep on repeatedly hit the fuel cut it cant be too great for your car...but the b18c is a high revving engine that is meant to be taken to the limit.(not every shift every day) but definitely u can race it plenty. i take my car to redline thru the gears several times during the day and my car is running damn good......just be careful when downshifting..when u downshift and youre goin too fast for the gear you downshifted into..theres no fuel cut for that ...youre engine=KABOOM!

yeah thanks a lot hehe I'm too scared to take it above 7700 rpm lol. Don't want to see a brand new gsr get blown up. So goin first gear at 8200 is fine and also with other gears??? Thanks.

Gees...pull it to fuel cut in every gear. You won't hurt the damn thing.Shift right before fuel cut.Whatever that is in your particular car.
