OK, I know I have been asking some stupid questions latley, but I came across a great deal on a B18C5 motor, I was wondering if there were any links to people that have done this. Should be fairly easy and strait forward. Just wanted to get advice and pointers. I know someone posted not too long ago but I can't seem to find the thread. TIA
what do you need to know?
The swap is straightforward. Since your GSR is OBD2a, you may need to get an OBD2b adapter if you want to run the P73 ecu.
Other than that, it's as simple as any B series VTEC swap in a DC chassis.

Yeah I basically just need to know what kinda ECU problems like wiring and stuff like that. This motor is a 97 and mine is a 95, do we need to trade the whole harness or do the make a conversion harness that is OBD1 to OBD2. I haven't ever seen one. But as far as clearance and all that sounds like everything will change right over. Any advice?

I never thought of that
I guess I could just leave eceryone thinking that I just have a GSR
That would be cool too.

J's intake, bullfrog header, ecu chip, I think thats about it. I might be considering putting the money into my engine now. I have too much on my mind. I was just told that I could get a JDM engine for the same price as the trade. I can't decide which is best. What do you guys think?

lol talk about a shameless plug
You might want to ask threatcon13, he has a JDM B18C-R in his '01 GSR

If your integra is a 95, then NO, its not OBD2a. If i were you, Id stay OBD1, get a chipped ecu, and just use your distributor and engine harness. Other than that, its all straight forward swapping.

yes ham said that the engine was from a '97, but digital is saying that if the car is a '95, then it is not OBD2
