question on type r swap
for a jdm type r swap in a 95 integra gsr can i use my gsr wiring for the motor and use my gsr ecu and eventually have it reprogrammed, shouldnt the gsr ecu run fine with the motor its sorta like putting high compression pistons, slightly ported head, and skunk 2 manifold on gsr engine. any help or tips on this swap would be appreciated

Yes you can reuse your GSR engine harness and ECU. It would be best to have your P72 ECU rechipped for proper VTEC engagement, etc. or you could get a chipped P28 ECU

Re: question on type r swap (VTECVillain)
Also you need to remember that the JDM motors do not have the Vtec pressure switches. You will have to use a USDM one or wire the JDM one yourself. IM me if you plan on going that route. Hope that helps
