Why even have HIDs? They are annoying and dont give me that I can see better bullshit. What are the high beams for?

You're sniffing glue man. Have you ever driven in an HID equipped car? Probably not, as soon as you do you will never go back to halogen. It lights up the road 100x better.

From what I hear you will pass with 4300k, but they probably don't have any way of detecting the kelvin temp so they probably just go by how they look. You will probably fail with 6000k+ since they are too purple.

They will pass inspection depending on where you go, and how much money you have available. 4 Mile Run is your friend lol

Most aftermarket HID kits (if any) aren't DOT approved.

Inspection most likely won't check for that. I drive by cops all the time and never gotten pulled over.

Unplug harnes from the HID ballast and connect it to your 9006 bubs then you are good to go

I got 4300 and live in VA and I passed inspection. they just didn't want any purple or blue tint in your lights. go during the day, they can't even tell that it's HIDs. hope this helps.
