I've notived that my Garrett T3/T04E has lost its high pitched woooooo spool over the past year, and now it has more of a metal rattle noise mixed into the woooooo noise. It still boosts fine, no oil leaks ever, solid oil return and feed, it has always had a filter... I was using a MaxRev BOV which was pretty shitty and not very functional for a few months, but it has been replaced with a working Blitz DD, could the MaxRev BOV have caused this problem with the compressor surge from its inability to blow off? I'm not planning on getting it rebuilt until I know what caused this, is it anything that needs immediate attention anyways? Thanks guys
