Default vtec oil pressure switch on 95 f22b1

I keep getting CELs with code 22. I checked the continuity on the switch and the volts on the harness and the ground. They all check out fine. Has anybody ran into this problem cause I'm stumped...........

try reseting the ecu.

if you still get the code it is either a bad vtec oil pressure switch, or the ecu is damaged possibly.

did this problem surface after performing any mods or anything.

It didnt really show up after any mods......... The CEL has been able to reset after you shut the car off until yesterday. When it stayed on, i tested the volts and continuity, hooked it back up and reset the ecu.......no light (?)

Not trying to be smart here ... but have you checked your oil level lately? We have had 2 cars in lately that have been down 3+ qts of oil and the V-Tech coded.

Just a thought ...

Knowing the owner of the Car I would have to say the oil level is fine. I guess will have to take one of my xtras and try swaping it over this weekend. Unless someone know up front and save 15mins of work

Yeah, oil level is fine. The code threw on me again yesterday after resetting the ecu and allowing time for the motor to cool. After it warmed up to temp and tried to get vtec to kick in.......It threw the code again. Let us know if a oil pressure switch off the b-series will work.....it'll save us time and $ if it does....
