oil pressure switch

Default oil pressure switch

My vtec doesnt seem to be working and ECU code 22 = Oil pressure Switch...Does anyone know how to fix this problem.???

if ECU code 22 is up VTEC wont engage right?

The switch might be bad. Your VTEC won't work with that code throwing.

i check oil regularly its fine...i just wanted to know if that was why my vtec wasnt kickin in

yeah i just had camshafts andvalvetrain put in with a 3 angle valvejob...i cantwait to feel it, illworkonthe carin in about 2 weeksfrom today im busy with work andshit thanx man

You need a certain pressure for your vtec solenoid to open.
If your switch is ok, witch it proly is because they hardly ever go bad, then it could be your oil pump or clogged sump.

My guess would be oil pressure, time for a gauge!

Also clean out that little screen on your vtec selnoid!
