Default think i found my oil leak need opinions

ok so i been wondering where my oil has been going. at first i thought i was burning oil because i was having to put in about a quart about every 2-3 weeks. well i started looking every where and i noticed oil all on the back of my rear motor mount, and also oil all around my TPS sensor and brakes and fuel lines ijust had to look real hard. then i noticed oil underneath the black tape i had wrapped around my brass oil tee fittings and sending unit. so i think im leaking a substantial amount of oil through my oil tee fittings and also on the back of my block where my oil feed line is screwed into. woule these little leaks alone cause losing about a quart of oil about every 2-3 weeks?

The leak would contribute to the loss of oil.

Teflon your brass fittings (the non-tapered side) and tighten all fittings snug (or snugger in your case). Drive around for a bit, then put your car on jacks and recheck for leaks. Is the oil by your TPS sensor possibly coming out of your breather located on your vavle cover? If so, this is due to the high pressure in the crankcase that is very common on boosted motors. An Oil Catch can is very nice to have.

well the valve cover breather on my car has a long rubber hose on it that i have routed kinda beind my distributor and pointed to the starter area. so i looked down there by the starter and theres no oil what so ever there. but there is a lot of oil on my rear motor mount kinda built up u know. i want to tighten the feed line o the back of the block but when i tightened it in the first pace i didnt want to over tighten so i just did "enough" but i guess it wasnt enough. but i really think thats where my oil loss is coming from. i mean think about it over the course of about 2-3 weeks and losing oil constantly from those sources im sure a qurat is lost because some of it evaporates in the motor bat

consider yourself lucky!!!! i had my tee setup snap inside my block causing me to leak over a quart a week!!!! so i just put the stock sender back in after getting the piece of the tee out of the block. So to answer your question, yes your tee is probably the problem and to fix it just get rid of it and get a golden eagle block adapter. The engine vibration causes them to break often...good luck

well my tee fitting is not threaded into my block. i have my feed line going from my block to a 5 way brass tee fitting up top in my engine bay where i have a oil sending unit for my auto meter gauge, the stock sending unit, and my feed line for te turbo. and i have that strapped to my fire wall.
