Does anyone know for sure(meaning you saw it with your own eyes) what the piston to deck height is for ctr pistons in a b18c block?
There all going to differ slightly depending on how accurate your tools are.. generally oem pistons are "in the deck" a several thousands, depending if the deck has been milled.. use a depth checker and then you will know for sure.. ..

The point in me asking was to find out where they sit before I buy them and put them in a block. But thanks anyway

thats kinda scary, some reason i think p30 pistons may suite better

I tried it that way and came up with .0085" of piston-to-deck clearance. When I actually measured, it came up to .000" (depending on what side of the piston you measured). Then again, some of the numbers I used in the calculations might not have been as accurate as I had assumed.

I would post my pics of my block when I had ctr's! they make power in b series blocks! just don't miss shift! and you will be happy alot fo my friends setups were like that a while back. you will like them like I did!
but to answer your question it all depends if the block was ever decked and whether your head was milled to be very accurate
