Default z6 or y8 tranny ?'s

Right now I using the dx tranny i my EG6 since I just got the car about 2 weeks ago not sure which tranny to go with. The z6 tranny or y8 tranny or if there is anything better for a daily driver and autoXing and looking for a new clutch. The car has a y7 in it now and boosted as soon as I can get the oilpressure sensor off! Dang nabbit! Though it'll be around 8-9psi so should I get a stage 2 or 3 clutch? Thanks

They y8 has steel shift forks. The z6 has cast aluminum, weaker, shift forks.

92-95 EX/Si has a 1.900 2nd gear
96-00 EX has a 1.909 2nd gear

Close enough not to matter.

Both put you at the end of third gear at the end of the strip, I know that for a fact.

Exactly. In a stock SI, that's all you need to scoot down the track .

need explaining there. The second pic shows nothing unusual other than main bearing stuck in outer case half.

My car is a stock EH3 with 250k on the odometer: of course it's slow.
