well i think he wants to know if he can just get a OBD1 GSR complete harness and plug it up to his OBD2 GSR.
I know that he will need a OBD1 distributor and altenator correct?
1) can you even take out the COMPLETE harness (with fuel injector) while the car is intack to the engine bay?
thanks</TD></TR></TABLE>

Nah I think he just means he wants to get an OBD I ECU and adaptor harness for it. You'll already be reseting it by swapping computers in that case. Just pull the ECU fuse prior to swapping and you'll be good to go.

There's very little to do as I said. Simply insure that you get the correct adaptor harness and ECU(P28 most likely) pull the fuses and swap computers. It's a very simple transplant.

UHH no you do not need a obd1 dist nor a alternator. you just need a obd2-obd1 harnest. GO to the FI board and Ben@importparts are selling them for 100 bucks each.

its so easy to swap over. all you need is the OBD2-OBD1 harness. i got the best and bought the Skunk2 Harness. it cost $235, but its well worth it. just make you get the ECU chipped when you get it. That is well worth it. Stock cams work good till about 8500 RPM thats about it. Plus the valve train cant really handle to much higher so be carefull. I definatly felt the power gain, its a really nice. Night and Day.
