Using an OBD1 Engine and Harness in an OBD2A Chassis (99 Integra)?
I picked up a 99 GSR shell that I'm planning to install a OBD1 95 Integra Ls swap into. My plans are to run an obd2 ls ecu so i don't have to convert to obd1 if neccesary. Couple of questions:
1) I don't have the obd2 engine harness from the shell. Can I use the OBD1 Engine Harness thats currently on the OBD1 LS Engine? Need to know if it will connect to the shock tower connector and work correctly.
2) I'm aware that the obd2 ecu will search for a CKF sensor that will not be on the OBD1 oil pump housing. Found the hack on ffsquad that I can do in order trick the obd2 ecu for not needing it. LINK: http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm
3) I assume if I can use the OBD1 engine harness then I will able to use the OBD1 distributor. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Any other suggestions welcome. I'd like to keep the swap as cost efficient as possible rather than buying a jumper harness and obd1 pr4 ecu to make it work.

You can use it and it'll plug up fine. The obd1 distributor will be fine as well. Not definite but I believe another difference is the evap wiring so you may get a code for that as well.
