I have a stage 2 clutch with a 12lb ACT flywheel both brand new. It feels like first gear is impossible now. It seem like the first time when I learned to drive a clutch 7 years ago. It feels like the motor is going to jump right out of the car. I have to rev it up high and let it out just right, then it works.

When I installed my swap (b16a) i used the d16z6 hydro clutch line which is a little shorter could this be the problem?

 

what is the problem?it dont go into first gear?
check master & slave cyl.
pressure plate could be going bad.

 

there is only 200 miles on them. First gear grabs so hard it feels like the motor is stalling it self out because it grabs so hard and the motor will idle real low when it grabs unless i hold the idle up

 

so, it grabs hard?you idle it in first gear while clutch is out?

 

the car idles fine in neutral. But in order to get a smooth start in first gear I have to rev it up because if I don't the car jumps hard

My clutch squeels like a beatch and I hate it, sometimes it won't go into third unless I DROP the rpm... Some say it may have been installed wrong, some say it needs adjusting, some say it's the shift linkage... etc... It jsut costs too much to drop the tranny and "down time" is non existent...
