Default changed clutch.. speedometer isnt working.. DA teg..

okay.. so i changed my friends clutch on his 91 teg.. on the VSS has those two hoses.. well i pulled them off and of course hella PS fluid drained out.. well.. now that everything is back together, how come the speedometer doesn't work anymore? rpm works but no speed..? input.. and yes... i refilled the ps container thing

was the speed sensor damaged when u pulled the tranny off...and what does PS (im guessing power steering u mean) fluid have to do with the speed sensor?(VSS)and changing the tranny?

Look into the speedo cable and sensor toward the rear of the tranny.

is this a mechanical VSS? if it is, it sounds like the speedo cable isnt seated properly. you dont have to put PS fluid into the VSS for it to work.

okay.. i'll make sure to check how far seated the cable is in the vss..
