Help! Took dizzy off and can't put it back on because...
I forgot to look at which way the rotor was pointing when i took it off. I was still only on a half cup of coffee when i took it off so hammerhead on me
Obviously, it can only go on 2 ways, one being right and one being wrong. How can I tell which way to have the rotor face when i re-install it? This is on my jdm h22a, I took the dizzy off because i am not getting spark and I need to possibly replace cap/rotor/ignitor/coil.

the distributor. When you take it off of the engine, there is 2 ways it can fit back on. One way the rotor will be pointing towards the correct dist. cap pick up point, and the other way the rotor will be pointing 180 degrees off.
Really? I thought that honda distributors have only one way it will fit back on to avoid problems and confusion?
thanks guys, I was scowering through old posts and one said that the notch on the shaft was slightly offset. I didn't even notice that.
