Default All-Motor or Boost... HALP!

Hopefully won't be a long post but I have a few things on my mind about both... I'm almost done with "looks" on my car which is what I promised myself I'd do when I got a nicer looking teg - OEM skirts and rears from saying I'm finished, for the most part.. My engine is sitting bone stock and screaming for modifications.. but I been holding back.. because I am just not damn sure what I want to do..

I haven't spent a penny on modifying the engine of my car for that same reason.. soon as I spend a dime on anything it's going to be clear which route I'm going to take....... This is how I see it..

All-Motor:

I'd love 180ish+ whp on motor.. reliable and quick... but what will 180whp get me at the track with a Type R/Civic SI (going to go with faster gears if I go all-motor) tranny? Will I be satisified? Once you hit 180whp you're basically done unless you decide to spray or touch pistons to up compression which will only bring it up a bit more..... However, going through gears fast with VTEC screaming is appealing .. Although I don't like the fact that a good all-motor setup will cost you basically the same a basic turbo setup will..

BOOST:

T3/T4 does sound good... but what about reliability on a daily driven car? Is 250+whp just too fast really? Won't it get boring when your the fastest in your group by far and all your races are either win or lose? How shitty is waiting to have 2-3 grand for a turbo setup when you can get instant gratification from cams in an all-motor setup for 500-600 bux.. Is it worth the wait? lol

Well, just throwing **** down in text about what goes through my head when choosing a direction for speed in my car.... still not quite sure.. Anybody else out there having the same problems? and what are you leaning towards

personal opinion id go boost... -turbo! why? even though NA is more reliable... it costs more money to create NA that hold up to an equally powered boosting car. I also have been in friends car where they boost 12+ psi and some 15+ psi and the feeling of boost when the turbo spools is just plain "SEXY" ok anyways... and i find turbo'd car's exhaust sound to be more deep and clean...while the NA exhausts sounds like a lawnmower... again thats my opinion.

I completely agree with everything you just said. After my first turboed car, I have to go turboed every time now.
