Tranny grinding???

Default Tranny grinding???

Every time i shift to 3rd going faster than about 30 mph it will make a grinding sound then go into gear does anybody know what this could be from?

if it is the synchros does that mean its time for a new tranny?

lol me too! I got a tranny laying at my frends shop waiting to taste some GM Synchromesh Friction Modified

shiftforks dont bent that way.... the 1st and 2nd its bigger and they can crak and break....
3rd and 4th its smaller and it shard to break... they wont bent just because

IMO his synchro or the ring metal on the sdynchro its worn out and or bent.. causing a grind in the tranny because it cant slow down the gear in order to go in.....

Damn, i put in the synchromesh fluid today and no luck it feels a little smoother and doesnt grind as much but it did not totally stop the grind maybe my tranny is just shot after a couple days if it does not get better i will try some gl 5

If it doesent grind when you put it in third it's not a Honda tranny.
