Do you guys think that ignition systems like an msd make any power on a naturally aspirated car with high compression.

 

I am wondering on that also..will the ignition kit msd w/blaster coil help out our high compression engines 11:1:1 =11:5:1?

 

i dont doubt that they make power..but i think the stock ignition is very good..ask kitkat if he likes his..he had a minor problem with it at the expo..i think it might be better suited for drag racing..

 

Possible, but even 11.5:1 is somewhat low compression to be worrying about
an ignition i think. Get a simple system like MSD 6a if you feel the need. Its
cheap and simple so you wont feel too bad if it doesnt do anything.

 

yeah some minor problem that pissed me off but i got a new blastercoil and everything is running good now

 

kitkatR-did you notice any power gains?

 

i was hella rich..i added the blaster ss and msd6al and i am not running rich no more..everything feel better now..notice better gas milage,and power i dont know yet until i go to the tracks to retime my car again to break 13s next friday.i'll let you know..what was your problem kitkatR?

 

i'm using the Ultra MDI and i think is pretty good

 

i can't really tell you because i got everything in my car put on at once

 

John, if you modify your car too fast, you are gonna run out of thing's to do.

 

when my car got to hot it would not start and if i was on the track it felt like i was flooring it in fifth gear going 20mph everything is good know thank god
