search is your friend! learn how to use the tools so you avoid getting flamed and also wasting space.

So by your suggestion Charlie, this whole site should be shut down and everyone should just refer to archives for knowledge? My suggestion Charlie... shut the **** up.

Anyway, the AN-R header has proven to be a really quality peice, and makes great gains too. I've seen a few dynoplots. If i remember correctly off the top of my head, it's somewhere around a 12whp gain on a stock b-series. E-mail them if you have any qustions, they are very prompt and have great customer service.

BTW Charlie, don't be so quick to flame newbies. They'll learn overtime and they usually stick around long when jackasses like you aren't dicks to them on their first few posts.

WTF.. how the **** did i flame him or was I a dick? I called him a newbie... not offensive at all if you ask me. they are new on the form so they are a newbi.... I did not call him stupid or a ricer or anything like that. if you read any post or know anything about me you would see that I'm one of the most helpful person on this site and barely ever flame people. If you call that flame then you got some seriouse interhpentation issuse. I would concider myself a newbie saver... I have a lot of people IM me everyday about random questions... NOT because I'm a know it all .....which my mentors know i'm not but it's because I'm willing to help when ever I can! If i don't know the answer I give them a List of H-Tech members who are also willing to help out.

IF you use search enough you would see how many freaking times the same information comes up and how many much spaces is wasted. I mean most people hate using search becuse of having to siff through page of pages of it.

He asked a very open question that has been covered many times on h-tech. I mean in he asked about somthing specif like the desgined, flow characterists, expected hp with setup, powerband results or something more direct he would get more creative responsese. I'm sure many of you guys will agree with me when I say I get sick and tired of seeing the same questions asked over and over....
yeah sometimes it good to repost and talk about things over one or twice but the same questions posted over more then 10 times if freaken exssesive; won't you agree?

Hell he didn't even say for what kind of motor or application

And the answer you gave him is sorta misleading..... 12hp on a stock b series motor? what does stock mean? which motor B16, B18c1 B18c5, stock LSvtec? WTF bro.. I'm not trying to honeslty mess with you or anything. I just want others to be more aware of what he heck they are posting.

BTW dude If I never had other members tell me about the search option and how to use it I probably would have won't have even known about it. FYI most newbies don't know how effectively use it. Seeing that you are the 1st to flame IM me and we can talke. Like I said I'm a IM **** and search junkie LOL

Yup, most of you are sheep... all on the internet hate bandwagon. You're so much better than the rest of us because you can tell us to "Search" instead of offering any helpful information what so ever. It would be a totally different story if you were to say:

Yeah, i've seen good results from them. If you do some searching, there are a few articles on it.

In stead of:

Search newbie.

See the difference? Didn't think so... because you're right, and everyone else is wrong.

I hate the search button. My friend has the AN-R header on his B16B and he said it made good power. If your gonna pay $530 for a header it better make 10+whp Also they look pretty weird. jDm bLiNg y0!

well since you are the ones flaming me. I honestly don't have anything that much to say that will open you mind into what my 2nd post stated. IF you think I think I'm internet god then your wrong.

Also people who don't do there research on stuff will not get very far. You might as well give up your car to a local shop to build, since you want all the answered handed to you on a silver platter and arn't willing to do the fair share of reasearch. There is a reason why we have search. Learn how to use it effectively. Sure you'll have to do some siffing through but thats whats its all about... as your looking for an aswer you learn a few thing along the way.

Well I'm willing to help but only to those who are willing to learn and not just learn what they need to know at the very moment. That **** is what gets annoying when I see it on tech forms like this. Go to ClubSi where they are post ***** and 5 people post the same question daily.

No i'm wrong a lot of the times...... more wrong then right in most cases. But it's a learning expericnce. If you don't understand what I ment in my post then IM and we can have a private conversation, flame war, ect... what ever you guys want. If you see some of my post, you'll see that I write a lot in my responses. I did not feel like I should help this guy out because he asked such a OPEN end questions. His post is pointless and can have 50+ different answers based on different varibales. So i just posted somthing quick and to the point. Ask anyone here if that was a dis or flame in any way... they'll just laugh and brush it off. If you think I flamed him you do have some issuses and also beware of the real internet flammer, hot heads,, jokers on this site. I'll let you guys figure it out your way if you'd like.

Any questions concerns IM be about it
I just don't want to see this form full of a bazzion post about the same ****. understand? If you do or don't.......... oh well not use to trying give advice when they are open about it.

later
----------------------

back on the subject if anyone else even wants to help out this guy if the already know what is setup application, specs are since he didn't listed it. If you don't know about his specs, then don't post... he'll propbably get more confused.

My take on this.

If there is any header thread, people will get on and say do a search. Almost any other type of thread that has been cover many many times this won't happen. There's a threadover at the ITR board asking about power loss when using a silencer.......I think this has been cover more than once..........but no flaming. I guess header threads are just special that way.

But if you think about it, most of all this technical stuff has been covered before. I've always said that this site should have an info/how to section and it could become even a better reference tool.

I stated my point already no need to have a shouting war. anyone else?

BTW theres more then one why to find it. Just be cause its not under AN-R doesn't mean it's not there. I seriosly hope you guys don't think about giving up simply because you can find or do somthing the 1st time theres other ways of finding it. hhaha this is freaken great. LOL

Yea we should all chill but I totally agree with Charlie dude. Too many posts made on topics that have already been discussed in detail. Just because you search "AN-R Header" doesn't mean you should stop there, simply HEADER in the all motor forum will give you a bucnh of good topics on all the headers, dyno #'s, build quality, and comparison.
