i bought a 14b turbo from ebay. and neither of the turbines spin. i can't move them at all. is that normal? i thought they should spin freely??? also the exhaust wastgate has 2 little crack on each side of the hole. can that be fixed?? i don't know too much on how the inside of a turbo works.
by the way i plan to use this turbo on my zc motor in my crx

 

Sorry to break it to you, but that doesn't sound right. A turbo should spin very freely, thought you aren't supposed to spin it without oil on the bearing. Cracks around the holes aren't good either. I dobut they could be fixed. You could try to reweld it etc..but the damage has been done. Leave that guy some negative feedback!
