Intercooler piping??? 2.5 or 3 inch!!!

Intercooler piping??? 2.5 or 3 inch!!!
The set up that I have is currently runing 2.5 from turbo to throttle body. The shop that dose my tuning suggested that I upgrade my i.c. piping. They said that it needed to be 3inch from the i.c. outlet to the throttle body. Just curious if any had any experience with this size piping. Thanks

i made 559whp at 22psi with 2.5 inch intercooler piping to the throttle body. i think 3 inch is more necessary when you are up over 600-650 or attempting to get to that hp.
