I have a couple of questions pretty stupid of me to ask and all bout fuel system.
I have a hybrid accord 4thgen with a prelude engine. And I have a fuel questions about it. Now I have upgraded my fuel system to compensate for the motors need.
I have installed a venom 255 lph high performance in tank fuel pump with a b&m fuel pressure regulator.
Now at times when I start my car in the morning it seems a little difficutl to start instead of the usual 1st crank 1st start I have to crank it 3 times to get it to start.
As for the fuel pressure regulator Anyone know hot to set the idle psi and how to set the wot psi cause on the guage most of the time it backfires because of the richness.

idle psi is about 28, and wot is about 40.
every engine is different, you need a wb o2 to be sure. also get some real fuel mgmt, and get it tuned, you wont be disappointed.

what if you had idle at 41psi and wot is at like 51? what then? and you still aitn tell me how to tune it of change the pressure
Start the car and let it idle, then remove the vacuum line running to the regulator. Your fuel pressure will then jump up to your WOT pressure, then adjust it where you want it and replace the line. I'm not sure of the factory psi.

well....the first part 41/51 psi will make it run rich, which will cause a loss in power.
the rest, i wasn't too sure what you said
edit: i think you asked how to set it...what the guy above me said is right about pulling the vacume line. as for the proceadure on your regulator, there all different.

H23/F22: with hose disconnected 36-43 psi
with hose connected 28-35 psi
H22: with hose disconnected 33-40
with hose connected 24-31
These are the stock settings make sure to make adjustments with the service jumper connected so the computer will not readjust.

I thought my fuel pump was going bad cause of the idling problem . Come to find out it was the computer cause of steve sending me a reprogrammed 5-speed computer. And I thought it would be good in the future to have it for my future turbo set-up. Alright I stuck the plug electrical connector in before I started the car up with the key out. Then I started up the car and the check engine light is on .
Now do I have to reset the computer when im done?
