obd 1 swap in a 88si

Default obd 1 swap in a 88si

ok here is my friends porblem...
he's using a pre obd 1 to obd 1 conversion from blownhatch...
the car starts up and idles.... but it doesnt run.. when you rev it, it dies...what would cause this??

It has to be somewhere in the ignition. Check your spark timing.

TPS readings are screwed.

Grab a voltometer and ground it to the Grn/Wht wire, put the other voltometer terminal to the Red/Blue wire, and make sure at idle the voltage for the TPS is at .5 volts and at WOT it's set at .45 volts.

That will fix your problem.
