Does anyone know how if you need anything extra to put a cable b16 into a 93 civic cx. Someone said you need a kit from hasport for the transmission. Please let me knopw any information you have that may help.

yeah hasport has a kit that will convert your hydro to cable its comes with all hardware and even the top tranny mount you will need to use. its kinda easy to install, as long as your car was a 5 speed before the swap because i have a auto converted to 5 speed and i need to change the tranny support that holds the mount because it sits higher in an auto that a 5 speed

The transmission on the engine is currently cable. Some one said that you have to put a hydro tranny into a cx but I would like to keep it cable. Do I need anything to keep the transmission cable?

HCP EG-18C kit. Works perfectly and has been for over 2.5 years now in one of our employee cars (even taken to the track a few times).... never a problem to date and feels pretty good. It's all in the installation on how well it's going to feel and engage the clutch.

Ya, go with JDMshit, Hasport is way too expensive and they try to sell you extra products that you don't need.

I see that you are also from Minnesota.

I have the HasPort cable clutch conversion mount and cable adapter in stock. I have a customer in Minneapolis that is running a cable tranny in his 93 Hatchback using the same kit. He loves it.

I also have the shift linkage you will need for that swap. You can contact me at the number posted below. The call should be local for you.
