hasport cable to hydro kit.

hasport hydro to cable kit.
ok a friend of mine is about to put a j1 tranny in his 92 hatch. si with a first gen b16a and Ls tranny. he said that he ordered the kit from hasport so he can use the j1. now my q is how hard is it to do this? he said that he will have to drill some holes to make it work. is this true?but if someone has done this please let me know how hard it is to do and post pics if you can thanks.

he would be better off getting a hydro tranny, b/c you have to get a mount kit and everything to do the hydro to cable.

he wants to use the j1 tranny because for 1 it was bolted to the b16a i sold him that and i told him about how the j1 has the 4.400 fd he just wants to use what he paid for. he has all the stuff to make the b16a fit and work now he just needs the hasport stuff for the tranny. the guy is cheep anyway so ill let him do what he thinks is best.i have my money so ill just let him spend what he wants to not my prob. i was just curious if anyone has done this and how did it work out?

go to hasport.com and ceck out the installation section. Pretty easy to follow...easier to do while motor and tranny are still outside the car.
