Want to find a pipe beader for some custom metal lines. Most common size will probably be 3/8", 1/2... maybe even up to 1". any suggestions?

 

I guess a related question - how many people run hardlines instead of braided lines?

 

sears has a universal tube bender that has dies for bending 5/16, 3/8 tubing.
what kind of solid lines are you running?

 

i think he wants a beader not bender?! I've thought about running hard lines for oil feed. It'd look clean if done w/ aluminum shaped nicely around the block. I've seen them for 1/4"-1/2" or so but nothing 1" big.

 

Any hard lines run for an oil feed really need to be flexable (braided). A hard line will break due to metal fatigue. The constant vibration will cause the line to break, pumping all of the oil out spinning bearings or worse.
