I used to have a CRX with a JDM ZC SOHC with a '90 Integra LS ecu. The wierdest thing happened. When my check engine came on, I would feel a lot more power than when it was off. The Check Engine Light came on mostly when I am on the freeway in 4th or 5th. And if I turned the car off and on again, the light would no come on.

NOW.....

I drive a '99 Hatchback with a JDM GSR motor w/p72. Same **** happens, except not as often. When the light comes on, the throttle is more responsive and the VTEC is stronger.

Anyone eve experience this or possibly know why this would happen?
