Default check engine light help

i have 92 civic h/b with b16a swap and ls ecu, i don't know if thats a good mix. but my check engine lights up after driving for a wile, and could anybody help how to check ecu for codes, were to look for blinking light, the check engine light go's on and stays on..

Maybe im missing something but why use an ls ecu? wouldn't you not have VTEC?

prime example of a dumbass that doesnt do research b4 attempting

You need a p30 ecu or a chipped p28 to be able to run the motor correctly.

Default check engine light help

i bought my b16 and the dude that was istalling it didn't switch the ecu i guess from a previous engine swat that was ls v-tec, before it was running good, then something just happend and the check engine light came on, and im not sure how to find the wires i need to jump to see my cell blink and to get the code. need help with what needs too be done, would my number one step be to change the ecu.?
