idle oil pressure
my b18b at idle is having a static 60psi oil press. That seems huge!
tried two different grounds with same pressure results
unit is a vdo with vdo sender
electrical
thanks

was your motor just rebuilt? I've seen new motor run about 45-50 psi during break in at an Idle but, 60 should be around cruising rpm. If it was just rebuilt maybe the clearances are really tight. Just a thought
check your PCV and crancase vent systems, make sure they're not clogged up.
also, rev the motor to 3500 rpm or so while its sitting and see what oil pressure is there.

I suspect the air in the line and sender skewed it, but once driven, shut down, and driven again the air escaped allowing a more accurate reading

electrical, but going with the endyn site, i setup a remote system as to not put the added torque of a big sender on the block. ill post up some pics of the setup once i find a pace to host em

Are you sure it doesn't drop when the motor heats up more? My car on cold start up will read about 60psi, then drop to 30-40 after 5 minutes, then once its completely warm will be between 15-20.
