Default blow off sound

i recently installed a header and since then ive been hearing this weird noise.. sorta random but only when im gasin it.. sounds like a blow off valve.. real quick release of pressure.. sounds like if were to 'pssstt' as in "hey you".. anyway not sure how to diagnose.. im going to see if i can tighten the header down some more..

anyone ever heard this before?

Did you be sure to use a gasket between the header and the head? Is everything torqued down propperly?

Did you torque the bolts down?

Did you install an intake?

I had the same thing after I ported my intake manifold. At certain parts of the throttle it would make a Pssssttt noise.

yea i wouldn't worry about it. Its probably just your intake if you can't find any leaks anywhere. My intake makes that sound at partial throttle.

does it sounds like a mini-backfire right when you shift? thats what mine does (i have straight pipin tho ) and i was told that it is from extra pressure.

keep riding your car and youll find out when you need to shift/how to shift without making that noise. Either quick shift and dont let up on the gas for more than you have to (which will sometimes still "pop") or just slow down lol.
