Turbo Manifold Temperature
im curious too....
The stock exhuast manifold didnt melt the dip stick....this inline pro unit melted my dip stick and is causeing oil to fly out and go all over my engine bay.
I dont know if it could be that my timing is retarted , but its set to 16~19 at idle.
anyone know what the temps of the runners should be? I used a heat gun and it read 440~480 at idle.

thats where mine is at... driving the freeway @ 80mph and not in boost mine get to about 800 C.
another intersting fact is how fast it cools down after you shut off the engine.... it goes from 600+ C to below 400 C in like a min.

I believe like 900 deg F is typacal for just highway crusing at like 2k-2.5k rpm under high load you should get around 1200-1300 deg F maybe even 1400 but I think if I remember like 12-1300 is optimal.

you mean oil was coming out of the dip stick tube - how do you fix this if the dip sticks keep melting - plug?

Im considering cutting the tube down a bit so that its not right between the two runners rather a few inches below.
