Default ceramic coated turbo manifold

Well, I finally grew weary of staring at my rusty, ugly turbo manifold for 3 years, so I broke down and got it ceramic coated.

Before:

After:

We'll see how long the coating lasts, I'll post an update later in the summer.

Appears to be a RevHard manifold

Yes, it does look a lot better. What was the cost if I may ask?

That's not a bad price... what are the benefits? Other than looking much better, does it help the heat?

Theoretically, the ceramic coating will aid in keeping the heat inside. I don't know of anyone that has actually collected data to prove this, but I admit that my main purpose for doing it was cosmetic.

it would of been better to do before the manifold saw any heat, but it looks 100 times better anyhow. it may become spotted looking. Just saw you were from detroit did STC do it for you?

looks good man! I plan on getting mine coated as well. I'll probably be using Performance Coatings though, since they are nice and close.

they did mine excellent service + job it really dropped the underhood temp

this is the titanium finish, chrome is not my choice.... and the satin finish are good for up 2000F.

I talked to the coating guy, he said it is also purposely coated on the inside, not just overspray.
