help car would not start!

Default help car would not start!

well...my car is 98 civic ex coupe w/ stock y8,since my car is parked outside so i unplug my spark plug wires everytime i leave my car(for security),but today,when i pluged the wires into places,the car just didnt start,it sounded like i pluged them in wrong order,i have tried all kinds of different ways,same results!someone please give me some input

all kinds of different ways?!?! HUH?!

when looking at your distributor one of the terminals should be labeled with a "C" that terminal is for cylinder #1. then going in a clock-wise order plug in #3, #4, #2. here's a diagram of what mine looks like

pull up next to another EK and just duplicate the order on the other, thats what i did.

btw, since you pull the wires <U>everytime</U> you leave your car, you just now got the order wrong?

it's the thing really wired! everytime i only pull the top two,and this morning i pulled them back,and the car is dead

all 4- cylinders fire in that order, unless you have a porsche boxter which is
4-2-3-1

you know that 1 is the cylinder on the timing side right.

um, I suggest finding another solution that is less noticeable (i would have your car stolen lickety split) and easier to do.

Think, hidden main fuse, something along those lines, or put your main relay where you can disconnect and remove it easily, those are the first 2 ideas that come to my mind.
