My moms car wont start I put new wires on it and now it wont start ...Do the wires have to go to a specific spot on the distributor or does it matter?

Its a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hey man. The distributer wires have to be plugged in a certain way. Its called the Firing Order. Just go to your local Autozone and ask for the firing order for that car and just plug them in the way it says.
