i have SEVERAL problems going on with my car, so here it goeas

i just put a d16z6 in my ex, while i had a d15z1 (vtec-e) in it temporarily... i ended up having to use the distro from the z1, and now my car has a TERRIBLE miss. whats making it miss? are these distros interchangable? i know i have a big vacuum leak at the TB, due to a messed up gasket.

im running on the d15z1 ecu, and when i do, i can only go to 25 in first, 45 in 2nd and 70 in 3rd... why is this? if i put a dx/lx ecu in, it seems to rev higher.

by the way, im running a zex 59300 cam too..

get a P28 ECU! I am not sure on the distributor problem...

 

oh im definately gonna fix the ecu situation... im just going to chip a p06.

 

they will bolt up to the head but it might throw some codes

 

but would it cause the miss that im having? miss at all throttle positions and all speeds/rpms.. dont think its plus or plug wires, cause they are new

i'd sell it to you for 80, but it's the ecu for the automatic. i never changed it when i put the manual in and the only problem it had was throwing the DTC for the auto tranny lock up solenoid...if you can deal with that, it's yours. tell me where to ship!

 

im going to have to pass on it, since its auto... i just sold an auto p28 to a guy for 60 shipped... if you will do that, then ill take it...
