Default Oil Pressure Running Low

I have a Turbocharged 1994 GSR Engine. When I cold start the engine in the morning and let it warm up for 2 min. before I run the car, the Oil Pressure reading ( on my Greddy Oil Pressure Guage ) reads a normal reading of 4. After about 5min. while driving, the Oil Pressure Guage reads 2. At an idle, while the car is stopped, I get a reading of 0. I always check the oil level to make sure it is at the correct level before I start my engine in the morning. What could be happening? What components should I check. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the Greddy Oil Pressure Guage is Electrical.

I don't have any problems with the VTEC not kicking in.

sweet your from shelton.. Olympia here, your the closest person I met on this thing. my GSR reads 25 at idle and like 50 when driving. Your sending unit is what is connnected at the back of the block and is also connected inline with your turbo oil feed line. There should be a wire that runs from the gauge to that unit. Its kinda big.

I have the same problem...Cold idle mine will read 6, warm/hot idle 0 somtimes below 0 ! My sending unit is tapped right by the oil filter. And this has been going on for a few months now. No clue...

David, nice to meet you! I might have FastLane in Lakewood take a look at it. Do you go dragracing? We should meet up and Pacific Raceway or Woodburn. Thanks for your help! Richard
