As long as the turbo's are "apples for apples", I hear good thing's about both!

Precision makes a great turbo but if your talking about bb chra's, innovative has the best design on the market.

Jason have you used any Precision's on any builds lately. Its seems like every time a talked to you you were doing another ITS 60-1. I was wondering how the two compared. . .

I have a SC61 on the way.. I sold one already to a B16A CRX, that one is being built by the owner.. The one on the way Im building for a friend, C5 block with CP pistons and crower rods, head has Crower springs and retainers. Im pretty excited about it.. Ive been using the 60-1/T3 for about 4 years now, and it has been the best turbo I have found for street/strip cars.. until I saw the results from Tony1 and others.. That pretty much sold me. so Ill keep you guys updated.

Yeah when I called Innovative the guy spec'ed me up with a GT70, .96 A/R and Q trim turbine wheel which is HUGE! I talk to precision give the same info and they spec out a SC61, als we thought BIG too with a PT67GTQ, but Rod said Harry recommended the SC61.

Sometimes you get what you pay for ... I have nothing bad to say about presicion..... till I saw innovative. We use innovative now and the quality is just the best I have seen so far. We had 2 presicion turbo's go out this year both with the same problem, excesive shaft play. I went and looked at my old crx t61 still on the car yesterday it had less play than my presicion after a whole year , and it was a turbonetics turbo go figure. Jason

the only logical reason that the turbonetics turbo could have possibly had less shaft play then your precision is cause someone who now works at innovative built that turbo when they worked for turbonetics.today, turbonetics turbos suck, customer service sucks, turbonetics sales people suck, the people who build the turbos suck!!! Yes, i have 1st hand experience in every department of turbonetcis so it is not here say on what i have said!!!

Innovative turbos are really nice but expensive. Right now with the Precision SC lineup and the ~775 price tag, i don't think you can beat it. Great turbo, price, and proven to make power.

I Innovative Turbo. I just received my turbo yesterday. Hopefully my car will be ready to run for NHRA Vegas (not likely, though). I know others who use/are sponsored by Innovative. I have heard nothing but great things about them. Customer service and turnaround time are top notch.

Mike as much rage as you have for turbonetics , lets just say I have for presicion. we had 2 weekends on our rebuilt one and it has excessive play back and forth, so I feel for you.
As far as innovative we have had nothing but good luck with all there products. For more info go to http://www.ultimateturbos.com

Both are great companies, now I have to decide if I want to go for the PT88, or have innovative build me a GT88 dual ball bearing
