I just got back from State Farm. Currently I dont have car insurance with them. Asked for a quote on a 2002 600cc bike, full coverage. They said $1600/yr. but if I move my 4runner over to State Farm, its going to be $450-500/yr. BTW, I'm 21 and live in California.
Thread hijack: Is there such a thing as theft insurance without comprehensive? I figure if I drop it, I can only do so much damage, but if someone steals it, that's quite a loss. I got quoted $284/yr for liability only from Progressive for a 19 year old on a 10 year old bike worth $2500.

Theft insurance is comprehensive. You might be thinking about collision too. Ask the insurance agent for more info.
