Default Insurance for 600cc in CA?

how much is insurance for a 600cc bike in CA?
im planning to take a motorcycle class and get my license in the summer.
how much are you paying.
please state age and state.
i tried getting an online qoute and search but it didn't really help.
i am 19 with a perfect driving record.

I'm 22, took the MSF course, and have been riding for almost 1yr... my first 6mo were about $250, and then my next 6mo were about $180. This is in the Los Angeles area through 21st century, liability only.

what company is your insurance from.
is it full coverage or just liable?
well i dont have my motor cycle license yet, but i will get it after im finished with my finals.

Is it true that insurance companies base their premiums on the MAKE of your bike as well? For instance, my friend with a CBR F3 said that he was turned down 3-4 times because it was a CBR. Had he gotten a Suzuki or Yamaha, they would have covered him. Or is this a myth as well?

Damn you guys have good rates!! In Toronto, i got a couple of quotes for an 03' gixxer600. I'm 27 clean record, first time rider $2600.00cdn year!
