Default ebrake help plz

okay, my brakes are already kinda worn all around and what not, but arent that bad. they still hold well, and they do not make noise.

my ebrake does not hold my car, i tried to adjust it, but nothing is helping. the left wheel doesnt even work when the lever is pulled and the right wheel doesnt even hold all that strong either. i was thinking of just using the adjusting screw to fix it, but when i went too, i cannot fit a wrench in that small space.. plus, i cannot remove the cover unless i drill the screws out (they are stripped, i will do it tomorrow if someone suggests it..)

also, another thing is that when i do pull the lever, the little bar that is riveted to the cable ends underneath the lever only pulls on the right side, and not on the left. its annoying to always have to park the car in first gear, plus the inability to do ebrake magic on steep hills...
help me guys, this blows goats...... what do you guys suggest?

I think you answered your own problem. I know you said you are having a hard time getting a wrench in there to hold it, but I would try something, anything to fix that. The reason your car rolls is you only have one wheel braking, if you had both it would work. Go ahead and try like you said earlyer, drill out the screws that are holding the plastic cover on than try and hook up the left side. That should fix your problem.
