so over the weekend, my ebrake has slowly lost its ability to stop the car from rolling. first it would take a couple extra clicks, and now it will not even catch the teeth. i pull it up and it falls back down...

so i thought i could adjust the cable in the center console..no luck, still doesnt help.

i dont think the shoes are bad, considering i never drove with the ebrake on. my friend tells me theres an adjustment bolt on the drum intself...anyone have a clue as to whats happening?

if the ebrake is real high when you engage it, then its probably time to change your brake shoes.
