Default E-Brake Adjustment

Hey guys, I got a question for you....

Me and a buddy just replaced the shoes on my EJ drums, and the parking brake wont engage for s**t!...I mean it will keep the car from rolling (if the incline isn't too steep), but if I drive about 20 mph and pull the e-brake, then the car just keeps rolling and then SLOWLY starts to slow down. We bled the brakes and adjusted the cable tensioner and adjusting nut and it still doesnt fix anything.......??......any ideas on what else to try to fix it or what else it might be??

Could I just need a new cable for the e-brake?? Cause I know that they can get stretched out....???

Thanks in advance for any help

we already did thaqt and the damn thing still wont grab....??? I dont know what to do.....the shoes are almost to the point where we can barely slide the drums over the shoes, and the adjusting nut is almost all the way to the top (front of the adjusting screw/towards the front of the car)....any one got any suggestions.....should I just take it to a brake shop and let them fix it??

Maybe try adjusting it under the center console...I believe there is a way to put tension in it there. I too have this problem but only with the drivers side brake. i have not adjusted it yet at any points.
