i'm having problems with my hondata when i try to boost. one problem is that a fellow honda-tech member sold me a screwed up hks bov, but the main problem is when i boost, the rev limiter will not allow me to go past 5000 rpm. but, when i run without boost it is fine. do you think that the non working bov is affecting it? please lend me your expertise

also, have you asked in the FI forum?

 

Has your car been tuned for boost yet? Only thing I can think of is that it's dumping tons of fuel as soon as the car enters the boost maps, which will prevent you from revving up the motor........

also dude could have had the rev set there in the basemap so noobs (not saying u) wouldnt blow their **** up... just a possiblity.. get out the laptop and hook it up.. unless u dont have dataloggin

 

nah...the rev isn't set like that in the base map b/c the person who tunes it for me is still trying to figure out what the problem is. he is the one who handles all the datalogging.
