Car turns over, wont stay running, Video Inside.....
here is a video of what happens. this will make the diagnostic session alot smoother.
Sorry its kinda large, but i used 320x320 HQX so you get the idea

this is what happens according to me.
car turns over. runs for about 1 seconds, the dies.
if i step on gas, the intake pops. and the header backfires.
this motor was in my hybrid civic, and then i wrecked it, now i transplanted it into this car. what could be wrong. the haynes says. distro problem, vacuum leak on TB, or insufficient fuel. i know for a fact that tb and Fuel are fine. the Distro seems to be skeptical, just cause i never touched it, and it fires everytime i turn the key. not like its sparatic. Timing is fine.
my evap is hooked up, my MAP is good, my TPS is fine (new one) fuel pressure os at 60psi. 370cc injectors, brand new NGK R plugs, new wires like september.... basically, im posticve teh motor is in excellent running condition. the motor has no been ran since last november. i finally took it outta the old car in march and kept it in my basement.
im bringing it down to an electrical malfunction. what could possibly keep the car from idling?
BTW i am running open header. thats why its sounds nasty.

Have you checked to see if the plugs are wet with gas? If so, back off the fuel pressure and give it a try. 370cc injectors and 60 psi, that is a lot of fuel for a car to idle on.

I didn't watch the video, but sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me. When its turned over, all the gas runs to the top of the tank and it runs out of gas.
haha car is on its wheels.
anyway, i have my vafc turned down to -20 on the low end 1000-2000. i tried leanign it out more, an dit didnt even start, i richened the mixture ran about the same.

go out side eand take the 3 screws out of the dis cap. Look at it, check the little screw on the side of the rotor. If its gone. Car will start and run for a second or 2 and die. It will do exactly what you describe. good chance it already distroyed your cap. Go check it and get back to us.
sure you can, i ran it like that for months before. in my hatch that i crashed.
ill check the dizzy, hopefully thats it.
yes my vafc shows throttle position.
see?

uh, well dizzy is fine.
i dont have any o2's hooked up yet.
somehow my crankshaft speed fluctuation sensor is unplugged. ( inever unplugged it)
my underdash fusebox green plug isnt wired correctly, (2000 dash harness, 95 box, so i had to cut and paste)
engine bay smells like gas, (charcaol canister line diagram i would like to see... )
knock sensor was unplugged, but i plugged it back in, shouldnt run like that even if it wasnt hooked up. soo thats where i stand.

well im lost here, anyone have ANY ideas. do sensor ground on the ecu plug matter than much? wether they are in the right pin or not?
also the crankshaft speed fluctuation sensor, there is a resistance reading of up to 4.5 ohms, (according to haynes) so i fi out a 3 ohm resistor in there wil that foll the ecu?
hondata 2b p28
