t3/t4 for B18b - trim? a/r?
sorry for the noob question. but i have decided to join the dark side and boost my ls... i am wondering what a/r and trim would be good for me..... i am looking for something that starts to spool faily early... nothing too small..... but not something that i have wait until like 4000rpm for boost... please give me your opinions! thanx
A common setup for that engine is:
.48 a/r T3 turbine housing
Stage 3 T3 turbine wheel
57 trim T04E compressor wheel
.60 a/r T04E compressor housing
You have a pretty large selection afa compressor wheels. There's a 50, 54, 57, and 60 trim. You can make a final decision after you narrow down your goals a bit more.

thanx man. i'm not sure how else ot narrow down my goals...... i want the setup to be suitible for daily driving, and i also want it to make some good power (maybe 250hp) and spool up early but not flatten out before redline..... that's about it...
someone suggested to me that i get a turbonetics t3/t04e 52 a/r super 60 trim... apparently that would be a good set up for my golas.....care to comment?

i've got a t3/t04e in my ls/hatch and i love it. spools at 3.5k and i get full boost by 4.Xk. drives like a regular ls under 3k and after that...it's on to the wild side!! oh yeah, forgot to mention the specs: .63/.60 .57 trim
