what STOCK internal parts do I need?
Exactly what the title means....I'm rebuilding a LS block and I need to know all the little parts that need to be replaced....for example, the bearings, what I have to do with the thrust washers, yadda yadda...

i just want to hear form people with experience building honda blocks what I should replace and what I should leave alone....of course this is a 91 b18a...
thanks turboR616, but what I meant was, which bearings? can somebody name all teh bearings I have to replace so i know what to buy?
if you are doing an overhaul i would replace all of the rod and main bearings

I would replace all bearings in the motor. Rod bearings and main bearings. I will do fresh hone on the block wiht some new pistons rings. i would get the crank checked out for any irregularities. I would replace water pump and oil pump with new honda units. after all that is done you should have complete rebuild motor with 0 miles.
Viren, I totally agree, actually thats Is what I did when I was building my block. Its a good time to do everything possible. If the motor is out of the car and apart all the mods and swaps should be done now. If U intended to build your monster this would be a good time.
I went 20 over on the JE pistons, Crower rods, head studs and all the essentials before closing up the block, this way I will not need to go back there unless there is something wrong.
