I built a ls/vtec for my friend and he got the gude head package. The head is milled like a mother F*cker. You do have lower comp. pistons. If i were in your shoes i would get a thicker head gasket. But that also depends on your fuel managment and how much boost you want to push. If you want to boost in a low psi range, like under 6 i would try to see if i could be tuned safe.

kinda hard to tell unless you can figure out your Comp Ratio N/A. If its going to be high (above 10) running that kind of boost might cause problems for you.

Hey the gude head is going to put your compression ratio at (estimated of course) 10.2-10.6 with a stock head gasket so you decide from there.

Exactly 23psi, eh? If you're going to do that, I would pay a little more attention to detail...otherwise you may not have a single motor for very long...just lots of little pieces.

You could just run LESS boost with higher compression and make about the same power with faster spool-up. .02

COMETIC(1 440 354 0777) is the place for any style headgasket. i typically run there .057 HP on stock motors.
